At this event, we invited the physics club, Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and the Lafayette community to join us in magic berry tasting. Hannah prepared an array of fruits and other sour and spicy foods then brought out the frozen berries specially delivered from a California grower. The crowd of students was cautious at first to test out the native African fruit, but after eating a special berry they devoured raw lemons, limes, hot sauce, pickled onions, and cheese. Sugar was sweet, sweet was sugar and bitter was delicious. Following the tasting, Kyle prepared a barbeque outside next to the reflecting pool. After we had filled our bellies, there was a blues/jazz jam session in the discussion room saturating the house with music. It was a magical afternoon at McKelvy surely to be remembered.
