This Saturday, September 28th, a bunch of clubs, including SEES, LEAP, Arts Society and Geology Club are sponsoring Green Apple Day of Service, which is a national movement to get students involved in community-based, environmental projects. The project happening at Lafayette is the construction of a dozen Compost Containers out of re- and up-cycled materials. Some of these containers are being sold and others are being donated to local organizations.

In order to make this project a success, we need volunteers!! That’s where you guys come in. The containers will be built by volunteers on the 28th: there are two 3-hour shifts available (10am-1pm) and (1-4pm). Lunch will be provided if you fill out this survey: https://lafayettec.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bkZkY2DFAyjZ2LP

Perhaps McKelvy could even buy one of the containers for our backyard, if you guys think we would use it.
